These two paintings were done at Laguna Beach last weekend. I took a great workshop with Ken Auster-an amazing painter and teacher. I struggled with the limited palette, but loved the challenge of trying a new process.

You got a lot of nice depth and atmosphere with these. They definitely read as Laguna too.

that time of the morning it's all about the atmosphere. It's a great time to paint, with so much os the simplification done for you.
